Motorist fined over speeding conviction lie

A motorist has been fined a total of almost £300 over a speeding conviction, but ironically it was not all down to the driving.

The 25 year old woman was caught doing 38mph in a 30mph zone, but when she received the fine in the post, she wrote back to the police and claimed it was her mother driving.
